About Me

I’m Katrina, founder and licensed therapist at Liminal Marriage & Family Therapy.

We might be a good fit if you’re looking for an active, engaged, direct, and nonjudgmental therapist. I am passionate about helping people build the toolkit they need to navigate their closest relationships. We might be a good fit if you are curious about the dynamics that keep you stuck in patterns that feel outdated or painful. I work with individuals and couples in all phases of their relationships:

  • processing break-ups or disconnect

  • deciding if engagement or marriage is the next right step

  • family planning including fertility journeys

  • the transition to becoming parents

  • launching kids into college and beyond

I also work with individuals navigating perinatal or postpartum challenges, and those looking to strengthen their relational thinking, process life transitions, or manage anxiety, stress, depression, or overwhelm.

About Liminal

Liminal spaces are often thresholds between what was and what will be. It is in these spaces that transformations occur. I work with people who are going through role or identity shifts that might feel overwhelming or unfamiliar. Whether you find yourself unrecognizable in a new relationship, struggling with the ending of an old relationship, are looking to move your relationship into a different label, or are adding new members or hormones or any of the myriad external and internal factors that shift our experience, I am here to help make sense of it all. I have experience with perinatal clients, perimenopausal and menopausal clients, parents of young children, parents of adolescents, couples looking to be engaged or married, couples finding themselves in patterns that don’t suit them, and couples curious if the relationships they are in are the ones in which they want to remain. If any of those sound like you, find out if I’m the right fit for you!
